Project “Supporting families and children for a better life”
The project “Supporting families and children for a better life” is financed by Tulip Foundation and Oak Foundation.
The main project goal is to initiate new effective practices for timely and appropriate support for children, families and women in child-birth in risk from Dobrich and villages near the town to improve the quality of their lives and decrease the number of children settled in institutions.
The target groups are: women in child-birth for who exists information from the hospital that plan to abandon their child after birth; families in risk; youths from schools in risky neighborhoods; citizens from Dobrich district. The project activities will be realized in Dobrich and four villages around the town.
The project starts in September 2010 and finishes in April 2012.
FOUNDATION
