The Helping Hand Foundation started a new project “Help me to do it by myself!”, financed by the Social Protection Fund of Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The duration of the project is 8 months.
On 20 March the Helping Hand Foundation and Saint Mina Association organized a closing conference of the project “Development of early intervention service for children with special needs in the local community”.
At the end of January the Helping Hand Foundation started a new Daily bread campaign. The goal of this project is to raise funds for providing lunch for homeless people. From the beginning of February we raised the amount of 2 300 BGN.

From 22nd to 25th February in Targovishte was organized a training “Strategic and administrative management” for NGOs. The training was a part of “UROK” program of National Network for Children.
The best holiday ever is yet to come! Christmas! The Helping Hand Foundation team was organized a gala day on the 16th December on occasion of its 6th birthday and was expecting the most special day of the year.
The Lumos Foundation is organizing training about deinstitutionalization from 7-th till 9th December in Dobrich. The Lumos Foundation is an international charity organization. Its mission is to put an end of systematic institutionalization of children.
On November 23th Bulgarian Red Cross and the Regional Inspectorate of Education organized a meeting in Europe hall in District Administration – Dobrich. The topic of meeting was “A chance for disabled people”.
On 30 September – 1 October 2011 Tulip Foundation has organized a training of trainers on how to apply the Family Group Conference approach. Albena Boneva – Chairperson of the Helping Hand Foundation took part in this first training.
The Helping Hand Foundation received a donation of 1 000 $ from friends from the town of Nazareth, the USA. The amount will be spent to supply basic needs of the children and their families who are involved in our project “Supporting families and children for a better life”, financed by the Tulip Foundation.
